Compex MJE5N17 Enclosure is an outdoor enclosure with a 5GHz Band 17dBi dual-polarization built-in panel antenna.The enclosure is made of UV resistant plastic and weather proof to IP53. A water proof RJ45 connector allows connection to indoor network equipment through a Cat5 cable. There are knock-out provisions for mounting up to 4 N-type external antenna connectors, should multiple antennas be needed. The antenna ground plane is electrically tied to the metal mounting bracket for solid grounding through the mounting structure, to protect the electronics against electromagnetic/static surge energy.
