300Mbps Outdoor Access Point, Built-in 17dBi@5GHz Antenna

MMJ5N26LV is a high-performance Outdoor Access Point with integrated PoE. Using Atheros AR7130 (300MHz)Processor, MMJ5N26 supports high-speed data transmission up to 300Mbps. MMJ5N26 is embedded with an integrated directional dual-polarization (vertical and horizontal) antenna supporting 5GHz (17dBi). The type of the antenna depends upon the order configuration.

Dual-polarization antenna provides good diversity coverage and better noise immunity. It has been integrated by high power radio to achieve longer range and higher throughput. The device is powerful, easy to handle, and also used in implementation over long distance by wireless ISP.

  • 11n standard uses OFDM modulation and is therefore perfectly legal to operate these facilities under the general authority as 11a/b/g.

    The speed at which the devices communicate determine the so-called modulation schemes and code MSC. These are defined total 31st MSC 0-7 uses one antenna to transmit and receive (so-called single stream) It is possible to have a standard width of 20 MHz channel, but for higher speed is selected to be 40 MHz. MSC7 theoretical maximum speed of 150 Mbps and is used only one antenna. Real rates are above 70 Mbps, but we'll see how it will be in our other tests.

    MSC 8-15 adds MIMO (Multile Input Multiple Output), it is the use of multiple antennas on both sides. These schemes specifically 2 antennas (known as MIMO 2x2). Not so that one antenna transmits and one receives, but always send and receive both antennas. Is used here to increase the speed of phase shifts (very simply say). These schemes used innovations products such as MIMO Junior, MIMO Station, Wodasign 11N router and a theoretical maximum speed is 300 Mbps. The measurements we showed that it is preferable to using separate antennas use different pairs of polarization antennas.     Multiple SSID
     Supports up to 4 virtual access points (VAP) per radio (concurrent dual band possible), with unique BSSIDs. Traffic from each VAP can be tagged to a unique VLAN and /or bridged if required. Each VAP will be able to configure their own security (WPA, WEP, TKIP, and AES).

    Long Range Support
     Suitable for long-range wireless deployment with Proprietary Long Distance Algorithm for ACK and CTS timeout adjustment support.
     Provides recommended values for the parameters and at the same time allow for manual fine-tuning for optimal performance.

    Antenna Alignment
     Antenna Alignment feature allows the system integrator to align the antenna for best signal strength.
