Embedded with Atheros chipset, it boasts network robustness, stability and wider coverage for network connectivity. Atheros AG technology provides WP54AG with higher throughput at 802.11a (5GHz) vs 802.11g’s congested 2.4GHz band and the ability to operate in more channels. WP54AG is capable of operating in 7 different modes like Access Point Bridging, Access Point Client, Gateway, Wireless Routing Client, Wireless Bridge Link, Point to Multi-Point and Wireless Ethernet Adapter that makes it suitable for a variety of wireless applications. By supporting multiple modes, WP54AG is able to suit the different deployment requirements. Network administrators can also make use of the SNMP feature included in the web management application for easy user setup.
