The device does not turn on power until it detects a valid POE signature from the devices attached downstream on the Ethernet cable. This protects against damage to non-compliant 802.3af equipment which may be connected to the Ethernet cable. Because of this intelligent detection only an 802.3af compliant device can be powered with the POE+1A4815. ,for WP/WPP serie verze 1D

Compex PoE Plus (Configuration a) The compex PoE Plus (configuration a) is a IEEE 802.3af compatible high power injector designed for Compex's range of wireless Access Points. Supporting a high power of 15W, PoE Plus (configuration a) allows the supply of operational power of the Access Points via the category 5 UTP cables.
System Integrators are no longer restricted with having to deploy the Access Point close to the power supply. This means that the Access Point can be deployed virtually anywhere, PoE Plus (configuration a) consists of an injector and a 48V 20W Power Supply which makes it an ideal kit for any outdoor or indoor wireless network deployment.

Advanced Auto-Sensing Algorithm (Configuration a) Advanced Auto-Sensing Algorithm enables taking power only from 802.3af PSE device.

Cost Effective The PoE Plus are cost-effective solution for deploying the wireless Access Point in indoor or outdoor environments where power source is scarce or no power cables are permitted. Flexibility The PoE Plus have the capability to support both 10 and 100Mbps networks to the wireless Access Point. Safety PoE Plus provide high safety with short circuit protection and auto disconnection for over or under voltage.
