The Compex WP54 is a Single Board AP based upon the Infineon ADM5120 Processor operating at 175MHz. Embedded with 16MB SDRAM and 4MB Flash, WP54 integrates one Type III Mini PCI Slot which provides the ideal platform to kickstart any wireless application. WP54 is designed for enterprise and public access application. An integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliance with Compex's PoE allows WP54 to be used in areas where power outlets are not readily available.

IKARUS OS full license - preinstaled (can be easily changed to Compex geniune firmware if needed)

WP54, besides using Compex Firmware, another alternative involves using Open-WRT. Open-WRT Firmware is available in source code. With Open-WRT, Linux hobbyists or professional developers are able to develop or customize more functionality on WP54.

In partnership with Antcor. SA., WP54 is able to run IkarusOS and IkarusOS manager as well, thus stretching the flexibility of this product.

IkarusOS is a network services operating system which turns an embedded based system into a dedicated (WI-FI) router. IkarusOS enabled deployments are easily configured provisioned and monitored through IkarusOS Manager which is a software application that provides real-time visibility and control of all IkarusOS based systems of the network. The complete administration and configuration of IkarusOS systems is done through IkarusOS Manager executed from any platform that supports Java.
